Carapirú is a nomadic indigenous man who, after escaping the massacre of his family group in 1977, wanders alone through the mountains of central Brazil until he is captured 10 years later, 2000 km away from his starting point.
Taken to Brasília by sertanista Sydney Possuelo, he becomes a national headline and the center of a controversy created by anthropologists and linguists regarding his origin and identity.
