The age between 20 to 30 is an important phase in everyone's life. A phase which defines a person's entire life. What if a person becomes a traitor in that phase? What if he/she gets arrested under stringent laws without a chance to get released? This is a
story inspired by the true events of a student.
A tribal community living in and depending solely on a forest without basic facilities is subjected to a series of atrocities by the system. A boy called Manju belonging to the same community raises his voice against the system. Being the first one from the community to get a college education, Manju knows his responsibilities. Manju not only demands the basic facilities to be given to his community but also shows dissent asking for the constitutional rights snatched away from them. Started as a small protest in a remote jungle it takes many angles and finally Manju and his father Ramanna are brought in front of the civil society as anti-nationals.
Three outsiders trust the father-son duo indicted of sedition charges. The police officer in charge of the case is about to retire and believes only in proofs and documents. Truth or lie gets decided according to their perceptions. For the truth to triumph among the two, it takes a very long battle.
Finally, the winner is not just the truth presented in the court but also the Ultimate Truth – The Constitution of India.
