Luis Couso, a Chess National Swedish Champion in 2017

We are excited to invite you to a special simultaneous chess display with Luis Couso,

a Cuban-born Swedish chessmaster (FM) and 2017 Swedish National Senior Champion.

Luis Couso is a Cuban born Swedish chessmaster (MF) and chess trainer.

Luis Couso:

He has won seven gold medals in Swedish Team Championships, four Stockholms Championships and the Swedish Championship for seniors (50+ category) in 2017.

At the festival, he will perform a simultaneous display (21 board) as a tribute to the great Cuban world champion José Raúl Capablanca.

Additionally, has a Master in History from Sant Petersburgs university in Russia and another one in Spanish Literature from Stockholms university.

In later years, he became a painter.
