Tauchen Sie mit uns ein in die bunte Welt Indiens, die leuchtende Welt Diwalis im Babylon Berlin. Erleben Sie eine bunte Bühnenshow und lernen Sie verschiedene Bundesstaaten Indiens, ihre Kostüme und Traditionen kennen. Lassen Sie sich verzaubern von Tänzen, die noch nicht in dieser Form auf einer Berliner Bühne gezeigt wurden. In diesem Jahr heben wir Diwali auf ein neues Level – wir machen es bunt! Feiern Sie mit Amikal die Vielfalt Indiens und erleben Sie, wie trotz kultureller Unterschiede eine Sache alle Menschen verbindet: der Tanz. Natürlich kommen auch alle Bollywood- Fans auf ihre Kosten.

Im Anschluss an die Bühnenshow gibt es eine große Bollywood-Party. Im Foyer des Babylons können Sie indische Speisen genießen. Diese Show dürfen Sie nicht verpassen!

AMIKAL’s DIWALI - Colours of India 2019. Diwali literally means a garland of lights.
Every year AMIKAL e.V. celebrates this global Indian festival, with a specific theme. This year, we take it to a different level. We add colours to it! The theme for 2019, aptly named "Colours of India", celebrates Indian diversity by showcasing the various states of India with their varied customs and traditions. It is our humble effort to exhibit the diverse cultural and social fabric of India to the world. The states you will glimpses of are: Andhra Pradesh, Bihar, Gujarat, Haryana, Maharashtra, Punjab, 7 Sisters (North-East cluster of Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, and Tripura), Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu, and Uttar Pradesh.

This show would be the first one in Berlin to present dance forms such as Hariyanvi, Lavani, Cheraw....and so on.. together..from Classical to Bollywood.. Do not miss this ..All in one show!!!
