A documentary about the floating village in the beautiful Vietnamese bay of Ha Long, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. In 2014, the government wanted to relocate the inhabitants here to the mainland. The resettlement is seen through the perspective of a little family, who has lived for generations in their self-built hut on a raft.

Nhưng điều gì sẽ xảy đến với những người dân của xóm này, khi trong nhiều thế hệ, họ đã quen sống và làm việc trên mặt nước? Phim được giải DIALOG-Preis tại liên hoan phim Cottbus và được chiếu tại liên hoan phim Max Ophüls Preis lần thứ 42. 

Director: Duc Ngo Ngoc is a Vietnamese-German film director and writer. In award-winning films such as “Fruit & Vegetables,” “Farewell Halong” and “Trading Happiness,” he processes his personal experiences of migration and presents his perspective on the issue. Duc received the German Screenplay Award in 2025 for his screenplay "Ha-Neu/Berlin". Since 2020, he has been leading the film workshops " DREH'S UM ", which aim to motivate young people with a migration background to tell their personal short films from German-Vietnamese perspectives.
