On October 22, 2021, 18-year-old Roma Nikos Sampanis was killed by police fire in the Perama area after a chase. The intense police violence in Greece in recent years, culminating in the murder of two young Romani men Nikos Sampanis and Kostas Fragoulis by police shootings, led to the making of the documentary film. Nikos leaves behind three children and a family seeking justice. The documentary gives voice to the grieving Sampanis family in their fight for justice and truth.

Am 22. Oktober 2021 wurde der 18-jährige Rom Nikos Sampanis nach einer Verfolgungsjagd durch Polizeischüsse im griechischen Perama getötet. Die intensive Polizeigewalt der letzten Jahre in Griechenland, die in der Ermordung zwei jungen Roma Nikos Sampanis und Kostas Fragoulis durch Polizeischüsse gipfelte, führte zur Entstehung dieses Dokumentarfilms. Nikos hinterlässt drei Kinder und eine Familie auf der Suche nach Gerechtigkeit. Der Dokumentarfilm lässt Familie Sampanis in ihrer Trauer und ihrem Kampf um Gerechtigkeit und Wahrheit zu Wort kommen.
