Nach dem Tod ihrer Mutter verbringt Lore sechs Wochen in der rheinischen Heimat, um der Verstorbenen ihren letzten Wunsch zu erfüllen. After her mothers death, Lore spends six weeks in her hometown in the Rhineland to fulfill the deceaseds final wish. In doing so, she must navigate entrenched family structures and a bureaucracy paralyzed by the first wave of COVID-19. Six weeks of a state of emergency. The days begin to slip by, and it seems that Lore is starting to live in an absurd symbiosis with the exceptional circumstances of the pandemic. Six weeks in which she learns to allow herself to grieve so as not to be consumed by it. In which she learns that the finitude of life must be planned for and that there is no answer to the question: How does one grieve properly?
