Seven individuals are selected to attend what appears to be the most exclusive event of the moment: a mysterious performance that promises to mark a turning point in each of their lives.
Inside a dark theatre, three masked men in paramilitary clothing are waiting to lead the show. As the evening unfolds, the guests soon realise they are not spectators, but the material of the performance itself. Their lives and deepest conditioning are gradually laid bare as the night descends into a violent ritual, culminating in a punishment as cruel as it is inescapable.

Loris Di Pasquale - Director

Loris Di Pasquale is an Italian filmmaker whose work moves between realism and symbolism, marked by a strong drive for experimentation and a focus on urgent social themes. His short films have screened at over 150 festivals worldwide, winning numerous awards, including prizes at WICA, the RIFF Award and Social World. Punk State, his debut feature film, had its World Premiere at the Pesaro Film Festival and its International Premiere at the Bucheon International Fantastic Film Festival, in the B Extreme section. It will be the opening film at the 25th edition of the RIFF Awards and is in the official competition at Another Hall In The Head.

Alma Noce - Actress, Producer

Alma Noce is an Italian actress and producer. Her screen credits include Gabriele Muccino’s The Best Years, Wilma Labate’s The Girl Has Flown, Valeria Golino’s The Art of Joy, for which she received a Nastro d’Argento, and Giovanni Veronesi’s Dio Ride. In 2026, she received the David di Donatello Rivelazioni Italiane award and founded Lemal Film, an independent production and distribution company based in Rome. She stars in and coproduced Punk State, Loris Di Pasquale’s debut feature.
