Two patients of a psychiatric clinic who are friends have to learn to take their lives into their own hands again after their release. A film that subtly questions social norms and makes a commitment to the self-determined life of outsiders. One of the most successful Norwegian films in its country of origin as well as internationally, which was nominated for an Oscar in 2002 and received numerous awards.
