ENGL.
Directed by acclaimed Italian actress Greta Scarano in her feature-film debut (which won Best New Director / Opera Prima awards), it stars Matilda De Angelis as Irene and newcomer Yuri Tuci as her 40-year-old autistic brother Omar, a performance that earned Tuci a Nastro d'Argento award.
The film is inspired by the real-life story of Damiano and Margherita Tercon, based on their autobiographical book "Mia sorella mi rompe le balle. Una storia di autismo normale". It offers an authentic and warm look at autism rather than falling into pity or clichés.
