Sadhu's master arrange married him off to a mentally challenged woman and gave them a home away from the village in a remote area. The wife, however, makes Sadhu's life chaotic. One day, Sadhu abandoned her far away so he could get rid of her. A palm drops off the palmyra palm tree, and out of the blue, Sadhu's wife returns home! Later, it appears that all events occur in a circle, including the mentally challenged wife, the palm tree, and Sadhu's life. An illusion, a wonder!

Roid has been officially selected for the prestigious Tiger Competition at the 55th International Film Festival Rotterdam (IFFR). This is the festivals main competition section. Roid has made history by becoming the first Bangladeshi full-length feature film to be selected in this category.

Renowned as one of the worlds leading film festivals for bold, experimental storytelling and distinctive cinematic language, the Rotterdam Film Festival provides a vital international platform for new and independent filmmakers.

The festival has previously showcased early works by celebrated filmmakers such as Christopher Nolan, Bong Joon-ho, Kelly Reichardt, Claire Denis, and Apichatpong Weerasethakul.

The Tiger Competition at IFFR is a space where daring ideas, entirely new perspectives, and promising future filmmakers gain global attention for the first time and compete for Europes prestigious and influential Tiger Award.
