Spoilt for choice by life’s abundance of options, Laura has lost track of her own aims and ideals. She’s always looking for something, she just doesn't know what. One night she meets Safi, who has fled her homeland. The encounter gives Laura food for thought.

Asso, with Dino and Poet, are, as always, in an inn, playing with cards and drinking wine with the owner. It seems a day as always when Nodàr, the local notary, comes into the inn with terrible news: four refugees are taking shelter in their little town, in the North East of Italy. In the meanwhile, another unexpected news is coming. A charming girl enters the inn looking for some bottles of water. The situation takes a turn for the worst when they discover that she’s a coworker of Marco, the social worker that create, in their little town, the new reception center for the refugees.
